Ukraine has so far exported almost 23.8 million tons of grain in the 2021/22 marketing period (July to June). That is 20.2% more than the 19.8 million tons at the same time last year. This is shown by data from the Ministry of Agriculture published today by.
This includes 14 million tons of wheat, 4.9 million tons of barley and 4.6 million tons of corn.
Ukraine plans to harvest a record 80.3 million tons of grain in 2021, compared to 65 million tons in 2020. Exports could rise from 44.7 million tons in 2020/21 to 61.5 million tons increase.
The government estimates that grain exports could include 24.5 million tons of wheat, 30.9 million tons of corn and 5.2 million tons of barley.
Ukraine's exports last season included 23.1 million tons of corn, 16.6 million tons of wheat and 4.2 million tons of barley.
