Ukraine has exported 29.2 million tons of grain so far in the current 2021/22 season (July to June), 22% more than at the same time the previous season, according to data from the Ministry of Agriculture on Friday.
This included 15.3 million tons of wheat, 5.1 million tons of barley and 8.4 million tons of corn.
Ukraine plans to thresh a record 80.9 million tonnes of grain in net weight this year, compared to 65 million tonnes in 2020. Exports could rise from 44.7 million tonnes in 2020/21 to 62.4 million Million tons.
The government has said grain exports could include 24.5 million tons of wheat, 30.9 million tons of corn and 5.2 million tons of barley.
Ukraine's exports last season included 23.1 million tons of corn, 16.6 million tons of wheat and 4.2 million tons of barley.
