Ukraine has exported 31.6 million tons of grain in the 2021/22 season from July to June so far, 21.1% more than in the same phase of the previous season, according to today's data from the Ministry of Agriculture.
This includes 15.7 million tons of wheat, 5.2 million tons of barley and 10.3 million tons of corn.
Agriculture Minister Roman Leshchenko said the country had harvested a record 84 million tons of clean weight grain this year, up from 65 million tons in 2020.
The ministry said that grain exports could include 24.5 million tons of wheat, 30.9 million tons of corn and 5.2 million tons of barley in 2021/22.
Ukraine's exports last season included 23.1 million tons of corn, 16.6 million tons of wheat and 4.2 million tons of barley.
