Ukraine has so far exported 9% less grain year-on-year

To date Ukraine has exported 30.8 million tonnes of grain during this marketing period. At this date a year ago, it was 33.9 million tons. This was announced by the Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture today.
The season runs from July to June. So far, 14.2 million tonnes of wheat, 12.3 million tonnes of corn and 4.1 million tonnes of barley have been exported. The Black Sea region harvested 61.3 million tons of grain in 2017, and in 2016 the record amount of 66 million tons was harvested.
The Kiev Ministry estimates grain exports at 41 million tons for the entire season.
