Recent rains across Ukraine are likely to improve the state of cereal crops and this year's crop forecast could be raised, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said Wednesday.
"We will get a normal harvest this year. It was raining and we expect the grain harvest forecast to improve, "Shmygal told Parliament.
The Department of Commerce said last month that the 2020 grain harvest could fall sharply from 75 million tons in 2019 to 60 million tons due to the severe drought in most regions.
