Ukraine: ProAgro reduces harvest forecast for 2020

The Ukrainian agricultural consultancy ProAgro, based in Kiev, has reduced its forecast for the Ukrainian grain harvest from 71.34 million tons to 69.444 million tons. The reason for this is therefore the lower outlook for the corn harvest. ProAGro reduced its corn harvest forecast from 34.02 million tons to 31.74 million tons. Total grain exports in the 2020/21 marketing year could fall from 55.63 million tons (2019/20) to 50.9 million tons.
