Ukraine: Rising wheat export prices

The high demand from importers and rising world market prices caused Ukrainian export prices for milling wheat to rise by around USD 3 per ton last week, the agricultural consultancy APK-Inform announced today. Ukrainian export prices for wheat containing 12.5% protein were between $ 236 and $ 240 per tonne of FOB at the end of the week, the consultancy said in its weekly report. For the inferior wheat with 11.5% protein, prices ranged between USD 235 and USD 238 per ton of FOB. Ukraine, one of the world's largest wheat producers and exporters, plans to export 17.5 million tons in the 2020/21 season (July to June).
