Ukraine: UkrAgroConsult raises forecast of Ukrainian maize exports

The Ukrainian analyst firm UkrAgroConsult has revised up its forecast of Ukrainian maize exports in the marketing year 2018/19 from 20 million tons to 21 million tons, which is due to an increase in harvest expectations. The sowing area could increase to 4.6 million hectares and the harvest could reach a volume of 26.6 million tons.
In the past year, 24.7 million tons of corn were harvested in Ukraine with an export potential of 18.5 million tons.
