Ukraine wants to export 42.5 million tons of grain

Ukraine has exported 12.1 million tons of grain since July 1, 2018, according to the Ministry of Agriculture in Kiev today. This is 12.6% less than in the same period last year.
Of that total, 7.1 million tonnes were wheat, 2.5 million tonnes of barley and 2.3 million tonnes of corn.
It is planned to harvest 64 million tons compared to 61.3 million tons in 2017.
In the 2017/18 season, the Black Sea region exported 39.4 million tonnes of grain; this season it could be 42.5 million tons.
