Ukraine: Wheat harvest will exceed expectation of 24 million tons

In Ukraine, around 23.98 million tonnes of wheat have been harvested to date on 96% of the total area. This is shown by data from the Ministry of Agriculture. This exceeds the originally expected harvest volume of 24 million tons. So far wheat has been harvested on an area of ​​6.37 million hectares with average yields of 3.76 tonnes per hectare. At the same time last year, 24.7 million tonnes of wheat were harvested on an area of ​​6 million hectares, with average yields of 4.11 tonnes per hectare.
