Agricultural exports from Ukraine increased by 19% to $ 16.4 billion in the first eleven months of 2017. Strong increases in exports of sugar, edible oils and cereals contributed to this. This was announced today by the Ministry of Agriculture in Kiev.
Ukraine exported 5.3 million tonnes of $ 3.99 billion of sunflower oil, 17.1 million tonnes of corn at $ 2.7 billion and 16 million tonnes of wheat at $ 2.5 billion.
The exports also included 2.2 million tonnes of soybeans and 1.99 million tonnes of rapeseed, as well as 700,000 tonnes of barley.
