Ukrainian grain exports are now falling dramatically

Grain exports from Ukraine fell significantly in the week of March 21-27. 774,000 tonnes were still exported, after 1.264 million tonnes the previous week.
Wheat exports fell from 319,000 tons in the previous week to 303,000 tons. The decline was even more pronounced for corn: 871,000 tons the previous week and now it was 412,000 tons.
Most of it was bought by Iran, Egypt and Turkey.
In the current marketing period 2019/20, which ends on June 30, exports have already increased to 44.2 million tons. In the same period of the previous year, there were 32.7 million tons on this date.
