Ukrainian grain stocks as of April 1 reached a volume of 13.5 million tons. At the same time last year, there were 16.1 million tons, reports the agricultural consultancy APK-Inform and refers to data from the state statistical authority.
The stocks of large and medium-sized agricultural companies include 4.1 million tons of wheat, 7.7 million tons of corn and 1.3 million tons of barley. The stocks of numerous small businesses are not taken into account.
In 2019, Ukraines farmers harvested 75 million tons of grain.
