Euronext corn failed to break away from bearish wheat and slipped into the red. The most traded March gave 8.00 euros/ton to 249.25 euros/ton. On the other side of the Pacific, corn contracts were mixed. While the front dates also recorded losses, the rear ones managed to turn the signs around and pocket marginal profits. Above all, the easing of the political situation between Ukraine and Russia slowed the bulls down. When exporting US corn, Mexico tops the list of buyers with a volume of 342,000 tons. In total, exports reach 1.035 million tons as of Jan. 27. Both the result from the previous week was not reached (- 151,000 tons), as well as from the previous year, where a total of 2.5 million tons more corn was sold in the same period.
