Corn prices fell yesterday at both the Mati in Paris and the CBoT in Chicago. The new front month March 23 closed with a daily minus of 2.25 euros at 331.25 euros per ton. The weekly export shipments were particularly disappointing at the CBoT. The US Department of Agriculture USDA registered only 231,458 tons in the week ended November 3rd, only half as much as in the previous week. Compared to the same week last year, weekly exports are even down by almost two thirds. The weakening soy complex also put pressure on the stock. We are excitedly looking forward to tomorrow's WASDE. Pre-market signs are green this morning, but the premiums are not worth mentioning so far.
