In Paris, corn prices followed the wheat market into the red. The front month recorded the highest loss with a minus of 17.50 euros/ton to 313.75 euros/ton. The display boards on the Chicago Stock Exchange also glowed red. Here, too, the front month lost the most and currently costs the equivalent of 257.34 euros/ton. In addition to the pressure from the wheat market, the news about the peace negotiations triggered the sell-off here. Part of the logistics in Ukraine could be replaced by freight transport on rails. However, the major ports on the Black Sea are still standing still.
