US corn sowing is done on 92% of the land

For the first time this season, the US Department of Agriculture has published a status report for the US corn stocks as of May 27, 18. According to this, 79% of the maize stocks are in top condition. In the past year, the value was significantly lower at 65%. Corn sowing is completed on 92% of planned land (previous week: 81%, previous year and 5-year average: 90%). Corn has accumulated on 72% of the areas (previous week: 50%, previous year: 70%, 5-year average: 69%).
