Accordingly, maize is sown on 97% of the planned areas (previous week: 93%; previous year: 78%; 5-year average: 94%). Analysts had expected sowing progress to be 97%. 75% of the accumulated maize plants are in top condition (previous week: 74%). Analysts expected exactly this value.
