US Crop Progress Report: ratings for summer wheat better than expected

The US Department of Agriculture released the weekly bullion ratings yesterday after the close in Chicago. 75% of the summer wheat stocks received the top rating "good to excellent" (g / e) on 12th August. Last week's share was 74%. Upfront analysts expected an average of 73% g / e.
The spring wheat harvest is 35% complete (previous week: 13%, previous year: 38%, 5-year average: 27%). The winter wheat harvest is nearly complete with 94% of the stocks (previous week: 90%, previous year: 97%, 5-year average: 96%).
The ratings of the soybeans stocks are slightly down. From 67% g / e in the previous week, they dropped to 66% this week (expectation: 66%). The corn ratings also declined. They dropped from 71% to 70% g / e. (Expectation: 70%).
