Last night, the U.S. Department of Agriculture released the Crop Progress report, which is currently updated weekly. According to this, soybean sowing has been completed on 53% of the areas planned for this (previous week: 38%; previous year: 16%; 5-year average: 38%. Analysts expected a sowing progress of 56%.
