Last night, the U.S. Department of Agriculture released the Crop Progress report, which is currently updated weekly. According to this, soybean sowing has been completed on 65% of the areas planned for this (previous week: 53%; previous year: 26%; 5-year average: 55%. Analysts expected a sowing progress of 69%.
