Last night, the U.S. Department of Agriculture released the Crop Progress report, which is currently updated weekly. According to this, 54% of the US winter wheat stocks are in top condition. This is an increase of 2% compared to the previous week. Analysts had expected 53% to remain unchanged from the previous week. Last year, 61 percent of winter wheat stocks in the United States were in top shape.
