Wheat prices on Euronext/Matif fell very clearly yesterday. The front month December lost more than it gained on Wednesday and closed with a minus of 7.75 euros at 345.00 euros/t. The follow-up appointments are also clearly marked in red. The price ranges for bread and feed wheat are also falling slightly on the local cash markets compared to the past few days. The CBoT also went south. The published export sales disappointed market participants and were at the lower end of expectations. The top US buyers each bought less than 100,000 tons. Pre-market, the eCboT shows slight green signs today. The geopolitical situation is still hovering over the grain markets as a whole. Yesterday it was announced that a United Nations delegation will travel to Moscow to negotiate the continuation of the grain corridor for Ukraine. The US dollar gained strength again yesterday, so US exporters should continue to find it difficult to place their goods on the world market.
