Euronext corn followed wheat into profit. The front month recorded a price gain of EUR 1.00/ton and ended the day with a settlement price of EUR 300.50/ton. On the other side of the Atlantic, however, the scoreboards were lit. Above all, the ongoing concerns that US export business could slow down prompted many market participants to secure their profits and increasingly reduce positions. Meanwhile, the EIA reports that around 1,018 million barrels of ethanol were produced last week. This means that production is still at a high level, but cannot match the previous week. In the warehouses, the level has increased to 22.934 million barrels.
