Euronext corn had to follow wheat targets into the red yesterday and posted slight losses. On the Chicago Stock Exchange, futures also failed to break away from the bearish wheat and ended trading down by as much as double digits. The latest data on US ethanol production showed that daily production rose to 1.041 million barrels. That corresponds to a plus of 6,000 barrels per day. At the same time, stocks increased from 1.3 to 25.85 million barrels. In terms of export figures, market participants are expecting a range of 600,000 tons to 1.3 million tons. Expected to be less than 250,000 tons in bookings for the new crop.
