Recovering from the week's losses, wheat contracts in Paris were bullish yesterday. The leading September increased by 5.25 euros/ton to 342.25 euros/ton. Above all, the increasing export business supported yesterday's movement. Iran recently booked wheat with a volume of 180,000 to 240,000 tons. On the other side of the Atlantic, the loss-making week also came to an end yesterday. The CBoT wheat ended the trade with double-digit gains. Speculators and investors took their chance to re-enter the market as prices fell. The most recent price correction had led to the lowest price levels in over half a year. Above all, the rising prices for corn and oilseeds helped the futures into the profit zone. US export business, on the other hand, provided no impetus. Bookings totaled 249,000 tonnes, just below the lower end of traders' expectations.
