Yesterday the USDA released the latest export sales data. These totaled 539,366 tons for wheat last week, surprising many analysts who had expected less. The value of the previous week was also exceeded by 80,000 tons. For soybeans, US analysts confirmed that sales totaled 975,102 tons, below last week's level. Corn sales reached a volume of 1.57 million tons and were thus 8.3% above the value of the previous week and almost 23% above the level of the previous year. The main customer is China.
