U.S. soybean seed with delays

The soybean planting in parts of the Midwest of the United States, especially in Missouri and Kansas, are far behind schedule. Prolonged rainfall from mid-June in the Missouri, Illinios and other federal States have led to floods the fields and to delays in sowing
That begs the question, to what extent the results of the quarter report will be published as of 30 June at 18:00 is still meaningful and whether a new survey must be done.
By 21.06.15, only 51% of the planned areas in Missouri were (US-top 6 soybean producer) ordered. The 5-year average of 88%.
Kansas (11 US top soybean producer) the rate is 73% (5-year average: 91%).
2013 the USDA has conducted a new survey in 14 States after the publication of the quarterly estimates, after the adverse weather conditions greatly delayed sowing in Dakota, the Midwest and the Southeast.
