Wheat prices continue to fall. Since the beginning of the week, the leading September date in Paris has lost 25 euros per ton. The December date has lost 22.50 euros/t since Monday. After the USDA, the International Grains Council (IGC) has now also increased its forecast for the global wheat harvest and expects a harvest volume of 778 million tons (+ 8 million tons compared to the last estimate). Speedy shipments in Ukraine continue to put pressure on prices. Four more ships left the Ukraine yesterday, some carrying wheat. There was additional selling pressure at the CBoT because the export figures were disappointing. With a weekly sales volume of 200,000 tons, the pessimistic estimates were met. The euro lost again significantly yesterday. the US dollar and makes it even more difficult for the Americans to place their wheat offers. There is a small plus in the premarket today. However, the losses of the previous days are far from being made up for.
