According to the USDA, corn export bookings totaled around 820,000 tons last week. This exceeded the value of the previous week by 40%. Japan tops the list of buyers. A total of 1.6 million tons were shipped in the week ended February 10th. Cumulatively, exports are 22.3 million tons and have thus missed the level of the previous year by 3%. Wheat exports were booked at 118,600 tons, marking a three-week high. Mexico and Guatemala in particular led the target countries. 410,000 tons were loaded. In summary, wheat exports amount to 13.23 million tons. According to market participants, the tender for 180,000 tons put out by Egypt was filled with Romanian wheat. Algeria also booked a shipment of 700,000 tons of wheat of unknown origin.
