Wheat on Euronext was mixed yesterday. While the front month was able to increase marginally, the back dates were flat. In its most recent harvest forecast, the DRV expects a production of 43.2 million tons. In addition to the lack of precipitation in some regions, logistics in particular remains a major problem at the moment. There is a lack of personnel and vehicles to enable the timely transport of the harvest. The barley harvest is expected to start in the coming days. The first results are eagerly awaited. Furthermore, the experts expect an increase in export business in the coming weeks, which could above all compensate for the missing quantities from the Ukraine. In the US, wheat contracts remained consistently in the red yesterday. A range of 200,000 to 600,000 tons is expected for today's export reports.
