USDA corrects corn yield forecast for Brazil

Corn contracts closed trading in Paris at the beginning of the week with a green sign. The leading month recorded an increase of EUR 0.75/ton to EUR 252.50/ton. Futures on the CBoT also ended trading in the black. According to the USDA, exports totaled 1.053 million tons. Overall, exports reached a volume of 18.6 million tons. Last season, 13.9% more corn was exported. The main customer with just under 28.6% is Japan, followed by Mexico, China and Colombia. In Brazil, the USDA expects a corn production of 113 million tons. In particular, the difficult growing conditions have led to lower yields.
