USDA ratings for winter wheat continue to decline

The ratings of winter wheat stocks in the states of Kansas and Texas have continued to deteriorate. Data released yesterday by the US Department of Agriculture show that only 11% of holdings in the state of Kansas received the highest credit rating (previous week: 12%). Also in Texas and Oklahoma, the% -tual share of top-rated plants dropped to 10% (Texas) and 5% (Oklahoma), respectively. By contrast, the proportion of stocks in Oklahoma in the assessment group "weak to very weak" dropped from 72% to 66% (previous week: 72%).
