The mood on the slaughter pig market is still described as friendly, even if trade has lost momentum again. The quantities offered are still small, so that the listing was able to increase slightly again. In addition, many pig farmers show only a low willingness to sell. The hope that prices could continue to rise is omnipresent. The slaughtering is in full swing and is currently limited primarily by the scarce supply. For the current week, the "Association of Producer Groups for Livestock and Meat" gives an average AutoFOM price factor (median), the "association price" of €1.95/index point (that's + 3 cents compared to the previous week) in a range of 1.902 € to €1.97; the corresponding FOM base price is €1.95/kg slaughter weight.
