In the slaughter pig market, the latest livestock census data has confirmed that pig numbers have continued to decline. This is currently noticeable in the continuing decline in the supply of live animals. The supply pressure has decreased and is thus relieving the market. Nevertheless, the impulses from Fleischmarkt are still missing to push through further surcharges. A stable development can therefore be expected at least for the coming week. For the current week, the "Association of Producer Groups for Livestock and Meat" gives an average AutoFOM price factor (median), the "association price" of €1.80/index point (that's 0 cents compared to the previous week) in a range of 1, €80 to €1.85; the corresponding FOM base price is €1.80/kg slaughter weight.
