Wheat contracts on Matif and CBoT close in green on the last trading day of the month. Monthly view, the wheat contracts are unchanged- On 1.08. the December date closed at EUR 325.50, yesterday the contract was EUR 324.50/t. The mills are currently well supplied on the cash markets, but are still open to offers. Shipping on the Rhine makes logistics even more complicated, especially in the south-west. Agritel from France corrects its own assessment of the French wheat harvest to 33.63 million tons. that would be around 1.3 million tons less on average over the last five years. In the USA, a survey by Farm Futures indicates that the acreage could increase again with the upcoming winter wheat sowing. According to the survey, the increase in space should be 7.5 percent. There are no uniform signs on the eCBoT before the trading day.
