Russian wheat prices rose last week amid growing supply problems. Production costs are rising in a generally firmer global market.
Black sea wheat with 12.5% protein for delivery in April cost $ 210 / ton fob late last week. That was $ 2 more than in the previous week.
From 1 July 2017 until 4 April, Russia exported 39.99 million tonnes of grain. This includes 31.19 million tonnes of wheat. Thus, Russia's grain exports were 39.3% higher than in the previous season.
Local prices for Class III wheat in the European part of Russia increased by 100 rubles / ton to 8,775 rubles (145.99 USD) from the loading station.
