Friday, February 21, 2020 The logistics service provider Rusagrotrans expects Russian wheat exports to reach 2 million tons in the coming month. The Ministry of Agriculture reports export quantities of 39 million tons of grain from Ukraine, 7.8 million tons more than in the last marketing year. In its forecast published yesterday, the grain trade association Cocereal assumes a lower EU wheat harvest. In France and Denmark in particular, the areas suffered from heavy rainfall. In Britain, farmers are particularly hard hit. For 2020, Cocereal expects an EU-27 harvest of 125.5 million tons of common wheat. Last year it was 129.7 million tons.
