On Wednesday, the indicator boards in Paris lit up red. For the front month of March, it fell from EUR 5.00 per tonne to EUR 264.25 per tonne. At the CBoT, things also clearly went south. The front dates in particular had to cope with double-digit losses. The ongoing tensions between Ukraine and Russia were unable to provide any further impetus on the stock exchange. In addition, the current rainfall in the Midwest is improving growing conditions, as the region had long suffered from drought. The analysts are expecting a range of 200,000 to 675,000 tons for the forthcoming USDA export figures. Meanwhile, both Tunisia and Bangladesh are actively seeking wheat in the market.
