Wheat stocks in Europe developed well

Wheat stocks in Europe benefited from the rains in the past few weeks and can continue to "normal" weather conditions expected a good harvest, which, however, will not reach the record level of last year.
The French consulting firm strategy of grains has increased the forecast of EU wheat production to 1.2 million tons by 2015 to 142.6 million tonnes. That would be a decline of 4% to the previous year, when 149,3 million tonnes of wheat were harvested.
In France, the wheat stocks are in good condition and we expect a bumper crop. The local wheat acreage reached its greatest level since nearly 80 years. ODA predicts the French wheat harvest to 38.1 million tonnes. The forecast was 37.5 million tonnes in April. In the past year, 37.5 million tons of wheat in France were harvested. Hardiness was discovered in parts of France, which could lead to crop damage.
Also in Germany, the second largest producer of winter wheat, the stocks have benefit from the rainfall of the past few weeks. The forecast of the harvest volume is 26,57 million tons of wheat, so the German Raiffeisenverband.
