Wheat: Traders are adjusting to possible export restrictions in Russia

CBoT wheat futures prices fall for the second consecutive day as it is expected that Russia will export more wheat in the coming months than in the first and second quarters of the marketing period in previous years. Exporters are accelerating their business because they fear export restrictions in the second half of the season.
Speculation about possible export restrictions in Russia drove up wheat prices on Friday, as it could narrow the world market. Europe, Russia and Australia estimate their harvest smaller.
The Russian government does not want to know about export restrictions. .... Not yet. The traders are still alarmed.
