The wheat on the Matif started the weekend with an increase of 4.75 euros per ton. First and foremost, the war in Ukraine remains a price-determining factor. Since Russian troops have apparently succeeded in destroying the Ukrainian fuel reserves, there is even less diesel available for sowing and plant care on the Black Sea. France's Ministry of Agriculture announced that 92 percent of its winter wheat acreage is in good condition. This means that the stocks are better valued than the average of the last five years. The EU-27 countries have until 21.3. around 19.6 million tons of soft wheat exported. That is about 400,000 tons less than at the same time last year. For Germany, 2.69 million tons of exports are on the scoreboard. Pre-market prices are weaker on the eCBoT today.
