Environment Ministry, Greens and Social Democrats welcome ECJ ruling on new breeding techniques

The highest European judges of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) have today made it clear in Luxembourg that the new breeding techniques are classified as genetic engineering and are therefore banned in the EU under current EU genetic engineering law.
