Keith Good: July 1 Cattle, Calf Inventory Comes in at Historic Low

Beef and Pork On Friday, in its semi-annual Cattle report, USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) indicated that, “All cattle and calves in the United States as of July 1, 2014, totaled 95.0 million head, 3 percent below the 97.8 million on July 1, 2012.
