On Monday, Protein Industries Canada announced a co-investment into a project that will develop and distribute plant-based, non-soy alternatives to pork and Wagyu beef. Partners in the project include Wamame Foods, Merit Functional Foods, Wismettac Asian Foods and Winecrush Technology.
