People - Ortenburg: "farmer of the year" comes from Niederbayern

Berlin (dpa / lby) - Georg Mayerhofer from the Lower Bavarian town of Ortenburg (county of Passau) is a "farmer of the year". The 36-year-old received the Ceres Award on Wednesday at the "Night of Agriculture" in Berlin, as the organizers announced on Thursday.
