In the case of soybeans, the Chinese are saving prices from a decline on both occasions. High production expectations are offset by growing Chinese import volumes. Speculators cannot ignore these facts. Net long positions increased by 6,118 units (plus 321 long positions, minus 5,797 short positions) to 127,037 units. Nevertheless, it seems to be only a matter of time. The share price and net long positions are trending downwards.
