DRV: Rapeseed harvest down to 3.8 million tons.
The rapeseed harvest falls by around 10% compared to the previous year. A -5.1 % reduction in acreage and yields per hectare contributed equally to this.
Particularly weak results are expected in Lower Saxony (-18.6 %), Thuringia (-17 %), Saxony (-13 %), Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (-12 %) and Schleswig-Holstein (-14.2 %). In all cases, a smaller area under cultivation and weaker yields are equally involved.
Only in Hesse is a +8.7 % higher rapeseed harvest forecast due to increased acreage and yields per hectare.
