Canola up slightly, rapeseed under pressure in Paris

Canola prices on the ICE in Winnipeg recorded an increase. For March, however, only by $0.60 to 630.10 Can-$/t. In Paris, on the other hand, the May contract lost EUR 6.75 to EUR 527/t. New estimates from Australia, one of the world's largest rapeseed producers, had a major influence on this development. Reports from the analysis company Lachstock Consulting revealed that 648,000 tons of rapeseed are expected to be exported in the current month, a significant increase on the previous month. Australia's most important export destination is Germany, followed by Belgium and the Netherlands.
