Soy complex gives way

The soy complex ended yesterday's trading day with marginal losses. Both the beans and the meal could no longer remain in the profit zone and gave way. In Brazil, harvesting work has lost momentum slightly. According to the analysts at AGRural, progress is currently almost 55%. However, the work is still going faster than last year. Progress there was 53% in the comparable period. Brazil's export business has been declining so far this season. The experts from Safras and Mercado assume that around 36.6% of the oilseed has been sold so far. Compared to the previous year of almost 50% soy sold, the value is significantly lower. The analysts say the main reason is the reluctance of sellers, who are hoping for rising prices in the coming weeks and months.
